tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez, born on the 27th of February, 1976, is an American football tight end who played for the National Football League (NFL), for 17 seasons. Regarded as one of the most outstanding tight end players ever and the NFL's top player in receiving yards and receptions by a tight end, and is ranked third overall in receiving. Gonzalez's first 12 years were in the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1997, he was drafted as the 1st pick. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons for five of the final seasons. Gonzalez retired in 2013 and was an analyst in the football league at NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked with CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pros. Gonzalez was known for his toughness and the ability to not lose a ball. He was a part of 272 of the 272 games in the regular season and he only made two fumbles with 1,327 touches. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Gonzalez was inducted in the year 2019.
